BakiTours was founded in 2023, when El Salvador began undergoing a profound transformation: thanks to the security measures and policies promoted by President Nayib Bukele, the country’s international perception changed and the influx of foreign tourists skyrocketed. Inspired by this new opportunity, a small group of local entrepreneurs—all passionate about tourism and customer service—joined forces to create a transportation operator offering not only transit but authentic and secure experiences.
From our beginnings, we assembled a bilingual team (Spanish and English) equipped to understand and anticipate each traveler’s needs: from recommendations for alternative routes to assistance with personalized itineraries. Very soon we will expand our reach by integrating new collaborators who speak other languages, to ensure an even more global and personalized service. With this vision of growth, BakiTours has established itself as the bridge between El Salvador’s cultural richness and travelers from around the world.
